Brian Pretty (S52-56) got in touch in
January 2024 with the surprise news
that he and his wife had emigrated to live
near Sydney. He said: “In a moment of
madness, we sold up all our possessions
and home and two years ago moved
to Sydney in order to spend our twilight
years with our family, all of whom are
citizens of Australia. A huge decision
at my age (I will be 85 in February) but
so far, we are delighted to be here.”
Unfortunately, a reunion/welcome in
Sydney has not yet been possible due
to Brian being in hospital but we hope it
happens later this year.
Hugh Richardson (S43-48) was in touch in
August 2024 saying that he wanted to get
in touch with his old friend Ian Channell
(42-45) aka The Wizard of New Zealand.
Hugh had recently had a fall and therefore
had had to postpone a planned trip to the
College.
